UPPR & PRTECThe Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico (UPPR) and the Puerto Rico Techno-Economic Corridor (PRTEC) have formed a significant partnership. This initiative aims to provide federal assistance for individuals to pursue technical courses and professional certifications free of charge. It is made possible through a proposal from the Ready to Work (RTW) Workforce Training Program of the Federal Department of Housing.THOSE WHO MEET THE CRITERIACan receive up to $3,000 for their professional education. The courses are offered by providers who have a Collaborative Agreement with the Puerto Rico Techno-Economic Corridor (PRTEC). | The eligibility requirements are as follows:➤Must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of Puerto Rico with low to median income.➤Must be unemployed. |
